Managing a skilled IT team of software and hardware engineers, you will modernize business processes and develop scalable, AI-enabled solutions that drive long-term success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with the company's growth and business goals.
- Lead end-to-end software development efforts, from concept to deployment and optimization.
- Implement agile and DevOps practices to enhance efficiency and adaptability in software delivery.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation across all business functions.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure IT solutions (software and hardware) address business needs and exceed expectations.
- Evaluate and implement AI/ML solutions, data analytics, and cloud technologies to drive business value.
- Maintain, audit, and continuously improve security management for the company's computer systems and networks, including software, hardware, and
- Oversee IT operations, including infrastructure, software, networks, and cybersecurity, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Mentor and develop an IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of technology trends to ensure the company remains competitive and relevant.
- Monitor and proactively mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Understand and ensure compliance with DOD's cybersecurity requirements (CMMC Certification).
- Direct the evaluation of hardware, software, infrastructure, and service resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits fit for the company.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for information systems hardware and software acquisitions, programming standards, communications, and other support projects.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to optimize technology spending and maximize ROI.
Must have experience with:
- Microsoft Visual Studio (C#/.NET Framework)
- WinForms
- Microsoft SQL Server2016+ (SSMS, SQL, Transact SQL)
- Entity Framework (or similar ORM)
- Relational Database Design
Experience a plus with:
- Developer Express UI Toolkit
- COM interop/Automation Servers
- Consuming 3rd Party REST Services
- NET/MVC, Angular
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a track record of leading technology teams and projects.
- Hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, DevOps).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, SQL, and languages commonly used for system design and software development.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
