Job Description

As an IT Team Manager for Quality Engineering, you will oversee test strategy, automation, and quality efforts for nCino and Salesforce applications. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our critical banking applications. Your role involves strategic planning, hands-on problem-solving, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will drive test automation initiatives using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT), ensuring scalable and efficient automated testing across our Salesforce ecosystem.

How You'll Spend Your Time

* Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
* Define and drive the test strategy for nCino/Salesforce, ensuring effective automation and manual testing practices.
* Implement and optimize test automation using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to enhance test efficiency and reliability.
* Enhance CI/CD processes by integrating automated testing, performance testing, and security validation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and operations to improve software quality.
* Manage test environments, tools, and frameworks, ensuring efficient and scalable testing solutions.
* Oversee defect management and reporting, ensuring timely issue resolution and quality releases.
* Advocate for quality best practices by implementing modern testing methodologies and driving process improvements.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business or a related field and 7-10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* 7-10 years of experience in software quality engineering, including test management and automation.
* 3+ years of leadership experience in managing QA/QE teams, preferably within nCino/Salesforce environments.
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce testing strategies, including automation frameworks, APIs, and integrations.
* Hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) for Salesforce test automation (preferred).
* Experience with additional automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing solutions.
* Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
