The System Designer for Thermal Management is responsible for:



  • Using and developing proprietary models to size the vehicle thermal system
  • Integration of basic control logics of thermal actuators
  • Creating and using pre-processing and post-processing tools and provides support through program management
  • Comparing the model results with test data and correlates the model accordingly
  • Communicating the results in oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and others including Propulsion Systems management

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes of electrical components
  • Knowledge Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited University
  • Components releasing experience
  • Experienced in validating and releasing of Electric Components for Automotive applications
  • Knowledge in electrified powertrain propulsion systems
  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green / Black-Belt
  • Knowledgeable in use of TeamCenter with experience in NX in a production release environment
