Certification & Education

- High school education required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Shall possess, or obtain via completion of a Government-supplied program of instruction within 6 months, qualification in NSW Multi-Purpose Canine medical care
- Shall possess or obtain via completion of a Government-supplied program of instruction the following certifications within thirty days Class C or military vehicle equivalent driver's license

Experience Required
|
- Shall have a minimum of three years' experience within the past five years in all of the following areas. Please submit resumes detailed to the month level, and broken out by the following categories:
- Canine husbandry
- Kennel sanitation
- Shall have one years' experience in the past three years in canine physical conditioning. Please submit resumes detailed to the month level.

Job Objective
Provide Kennel Support for the Naval Special Warfare Command Multi-Purpose Canine Program in accordance with NSW standard operating procedures (SOP).
Responsibilities
- Perform daily feeding, watering, and husbandry.
- Perform weekly weight and body condition score evaluation and tracking.
- Perform all aspects of internal and external kennel care to include cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance.
- Perform daily physical conditioning for MPCs and puppies to include rehabilitation.
- Document physical conditioning completion and performance as directed
Education & Certification
- High school education required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
