Preferred locations: Boston, New York, Philadelphia Role Description POSITION: Professional Services Veterinarian, Veterinary Professional Services DIVISION: Veterinary Professional Services, U.S. Diagnostics POSITION LOCATION: New England, New York, Philadelphia Job Description We are seeking an accomplished veterinarian to support and grow the Zoetis diagnostics business with key customer accounts. Qualifications (i.e., preferred education, experience, attributes) Required Experience and Skills * Thorough technical understanding and knowledge of all Zoetis Diagnostic offerings * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) * Proven leadership ability with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to embrace complexity and rapid, continuous change * Financial experience including budgetary management * Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team-based environment, align with and influence internal and external stakeholders, and build / manage relationships at all levels of an organization. * Demonstrated strategic directional thinking skills * Demonstrated ability for matrix management * Strong relationship building skills * Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments. * Project / process management and attention to detail. Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful / fair decisions based on relevant information. * Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems). Minimum Qualifications * Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent. * 5+ years post-doctoral experience in clinical practice, academia, research or industry. * Board certification or additional advanced degrees (i.e., MS, MBA) are a plus. * Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications.
