Responsibilities

    Develop, review, edit and supplement the national training program for CDL and non-CDL passenger vehicle operators, supervisors and curbside management personnel to include materials tracking, reporting systems and "Train-the-Trainer" protocols
  • Develop, procure and coordinate dissemination of collateral materials as it relates to safety and training
  • Deliver on-site point-of-service training as needed
  • Develop/perform program for field safety/training reviews/audits
  • Monitor Key (Safety) Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in accident investigations
  • Support the recruitment, selection, screening and hiring of drivers
  • Work with SP+ Officers and Managers in responding to subject matter governmental investigations and audits


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or eight years of experience in lieu of the four year degree
  • Five years progressive management/supervisory experience in transportation safety training for firm(s) with national fleet(s) of passenger buses
  • Thorough knowledge and practical understanding of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of DOT policies, OSHA and EPA standards and ADA requirements
  • CDL Class B License with Passenger endorsement
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Proven ability to select, hire and train qualified vehicle operators and supervisors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000/yr
