ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and Collection Analyst to join our Revenue Accounting team. The ideal candidate should have experience in reviewing sales orders and invoices, posting accounts receivable journal entries, performing account reconciliations and managing collections outreach. This role will report directly to the Manager of Revenue Accounting.
What You'll Do:


  • Perform collections tasks, including billing, customer collections, cash applications, and maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Assist with sales order processing and billing to ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue transactions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer billing inquiries and lead efforts to confirm the accuracy of customer contacts and ensure collectability.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects focused on streamlining and automating collections processes.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Revenue Operations teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts receivable.
  • Generate weekly A/R report and conduct meetings regarding status of A/R



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 3-5 years of Credit and Collections experience in a B2B environment

  • Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment; comfortable with ambiguity

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, communication and critical thinking skills.
