Our signature technologies - dry-powder formulations and inhalation devices - offer rapid and convenient delivery of medicines to the deep lung where they can exert an effect locally or enter the systemic circulation, depending on the target indication.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scientist with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses, developing new testing methods, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Essential duties, key job responsibilities, and essential functions:


  • Perform materials characterization testing using techniques such as DSC, TGA, DVS. XRD, and SEM
  • Perform chemical analyses using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, UV-Vis and KF
  • Support aerosol analysis using techniques such as aPSD, DDU, and FSI
  • Develop, validate, and implement new analytical methods.
  • Interpret and document test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in analytical chemistry techniques and industry trends.


Minimum qualifications to perform the job; specific skills, education, knowledge and job experience necessary to perform essential duties; physical requirements for job if any.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience (Bachelor's) or 1-3 years of experience (Master's) in an analytical chemistry laboratory.
  • Experience in using analytical instruments such as DSC, TGA, DVS, and HPLC.
  • Knowledge of Empower software is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Experience with method development and validation is a plus
  • Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.




Pay Range: $70,400 - $105,600 per year
