The position is intended for an Occupational Health and Safety or Industrial Engineering undergraduate or graduate student to obtain hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks while contributing to the company’s overall goals and objectives. Assist Corporate H&S Manager with maintaining safety and training records of field staff. Co-lead Corporate Safety Committee. Support daily H&S activities (i.e., audits, incident investigations, corrective action follow-up etc.) in various industries and environments. Assist Project Managers and supervisors with work planning and development of job hazard analysis and safe work procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and computer skills are mandatory. Excellent, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Possesses knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety-related procedures. Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude. Willingness to learn and adapt to change. Be self-motivated.
