General Assemblers - Permanent

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

We have several openings for full time, permanent Assemblers at Manitou. The responsibility of our General Assemblers is to perform tasks required to build a Manitou Pontoon boat. These tasks need to be completed with a high level of attention to detail to make sure all of our products meet the expectations of our customers.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Work with a small team to help assemble different areas of a pontoon boat (floor/deck, seating/interior, wall installation etc)

• Follow installation guidelines put in place by engineering

• Follow day-to-day instructions given by the supervisor and team leader

• Cross train in multiple areas throughout the plant

• Communicate issues to team leader or supervisor

• Act as a part of line side quality inspection throughout the work process

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures as trained upon

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

• 2+ years of recent manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

• Regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull.

• Required to lift 50+ pounds, and work at an elevation of 3 feet or greater.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated job stability with regular and reliable attendance.

• Boat building experience
