Project Coordinator SME / Sr. Advisor
Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:


  • Provides technical input to the acquisition documents required per DoD guidelines
  • Coordinates project activities across the functional domain which includes engineering, logistics, financial management and contracts
  • Provides expert level advice to the Project Director and other members of the IPT in the area of program acquisition and execution
  • Track cost, schedule, and performance for a portfolio of projects; schedule and attend project technical and programmatic reviews, resolve issues as identified; prepare documentation for scheduled reviews
  • Provide coordination for all ongoing projects; identify and provide input to the project director to execute risk management and contractor performance assessments
  • Travel approximately 25%, locations include CONUS and OCONUS



Required Skills:


  • Extensive experience with acquisition and contract management, including procurement, contract negotiations, and compliance with DoD acquisition processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project for project tracking, scheduling, and resource management
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle, FAR/DFARS regulations, and contracting principles
  • Deep knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods, and analytical analysis for acquisition and contract oversight
  • Expertise in program planning, budgeting cycles, and cost estimation
  • Proven ability to execute projects and studies within established financial and time constraints
  • Strong skills in interpreting and applying government regulations, acquisition policies, and procurement procedures
  • Ability to integrate and synthesize complex contract and project management information to support strategic decision-making
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders, preparing reports, and briefing leadership
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize acquisition and contract requirements effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting



Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PMP/DAWIAA Level III Certification
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs
  • Secret Clearance
