Position Summary: The Mutual Fund Valuation & Pricing Specialist assists with the daily calculation of net asset valuations (NAV's) for the 529 programs and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Hours: Part-Time (15 hours), Monday - Friday 5:30 PM - approximately 7:30 PM

Essential Functions:



  • Assist with nightly calculations of net asset values (NAVs) for all College Savings Group Portfolios.
  • Update and publish prices through multiple software programs and websites.
  • Assist in generating monthly data extracts, and bank reconciliation documents.
  • Obtain and verify underlying portfolio security prices.
  • Input daily dividend factors and rates of the underlying securities for execution of accruals and settle dividend payments.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training. Follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related fields or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Accounting and Mutual Fund experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of MFACT fund accounting software preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard accounting systems and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other financial software.
  • Working knowledge of 529 products and rules preferred.
  • Strong research skills.

Working Environment:

Indoor work - not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
