Custodian

The Janitor/Guard reports to the Site Manager or his designated representative.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Clean all designated spaces, which may include hallways/corridors, stairwells and stairways, restrooms, briefing spaces, trainer spaces etc. This will include dusting all horizontal surfaces, mop and/or vacuum designated spaces, empty trash, cleaning sinks, toilets, and mirrors in restrooms.
• The janitor will provide and meet all cleaning requirements for all areas designated in the contract.
• The Janitor will work any shift and weekends as specified by contract for the site.
• The Janitor will perform other task as assigned by the Site Manager or his designated representative.

• Must be able to sweep, mop, vacuum, clean windows and stairwells.
• Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
• Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.
• A Janitor/Guard must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in using MS Office applications to create reports is desired.
• Applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport.
• Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance for access to classified areas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs is required. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
