Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $56,850.00/Yr. - USD $94,750.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Requirements

    Prior military experience as ITSX on submarines (at least 8 years of experience)
  • Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) experience (at least 8 years of experience)
  • Security+ certification (may obtain within first few months of employment)


Desired Skills

  • Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO), Groom and System Operational and Verification Testing (SOVT) experience
  • Windows, Linux, Red Hat certifications
  • CSRR maintenance school completion
  • External Communications System (ECS) Grooms experience
  • CSRR Multi-Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) experience
  • Any of the following NECs:
    • 736A: Global and Command Control System Maritime 4.X (GCCS-M.4X) System Administrator
    • 737A: Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) II Manager
    • 738A: Global Command and Control System Maritime (GCCS-M) (Force Level 4.1) Inc 2 System Admin
    • 739A: Global Command and Control System Maritime 4.0.3 (GCCS-M 4.0.3) System Administrator
    • 741A: Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
    • 742A: Network Security Vulnerability Technician
    • T47A: Submarine Local Area Network (SUBLAN) Technician
    • 744A: Low Band Universal Communication System (LBUCS) Transmit Terminal Equipment Operator/Maintainer
    • 745A: Information Systems Technician
    • 746A: Information Systems Administrator


Description

  • Working as a CSRR Operator and Maintenance Technician
    CSRR Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Providing technical support of the Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) and components
  • Testing, troubleshooting, removing, rebuilding and/or replacing, re-installing and re-testing Submarine Communication Systems and equipment to include hardware, cabling, and software
  • Providing support during Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) and System Operational and Verification Testing (SOVT) to include a complete end-to-end test of the radio systems both in a controlled lab environment and onboard naval submarines
  • Performing software installations and system backups on all Windows and Red Hat Linux CSRR components
  • Performing corrective maintenance, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of the CSRR transceiver/receiver systems
  • Providing Pre- and Post-installation testing support during modernization of the CSRR
  • Providing on-the-job training (OJT) to ship's force after completion of the modernization alteration (will not require at-sea testing)
  • Preparing test documentation and reviewing / revising existing CSRR documentation
  • Supporting pre-deployment External Communications System Grooms of the entire submarine communications suite
  • Providing support to the CSRR Multi-Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) team
  • Willing and able to travel, not including possible time at-sea

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
