Alta Gas - Asset Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Plant Asset Manager to oversee the management and optimization of our power plant assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy markets and financial analysis, ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of power plant assets, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Energy Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze energy market trends, prices, and regulations to identify opportunities and risks.
• Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and profitability of power plant operations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset management, including operational, financial, and market risks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, investors, and other key partners.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, financial metrics, and market conditions to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management within the energy sector, with a focus on power plants.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy markets and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, financial analysis software).

We offer a competitive salary range of $98,000 to $142,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
