Metal Worker

SUMMARY:

A Metal Worker will possess a variety of basic manufacturing skills and abilities to assemble, fabricate and repair FAA components by utilizing various hand tools and equipment. This is M - F, 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and understand planning documents
• Learn and perform basic manufacturing tasks and activities
• Use equipment and hand tools to manufacture component parts to specifications
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Work to close tolerances

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Good reading comprehension skills
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment (preferred)
• Manufacturing certification a plus
