What You'll Be Doing
You will be working to support data and quality efforts for a collective Foster Care program across three agencies, Child & Family, NAFI, and Children's Friend. This position will report to the PQI Supervisor and Foster Care Director, collaborating with program managers in all three agencies. Responsibilities include identifying data needs, issuing data reports, and implementing performance and quality improvement processes and policies. The Data and Quality Specialist will oversee and collaborate with our Foster Care agency collaborative program to identify outcome metrics, measure fidelity to evidence-based programming, and support contract management efforts.

Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily:
* Provide ongoing support and implementation of the Foster Care Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) plan.
* Provide support for all data-driven program initiatives and produce all annual, quarterly, and monthly reports, as well as any additional reports requested; maintains program census, evidence-based model fidelity, and foster parent recruitment data.
* Ensure data quality by performing regular audits.
* Support end users and administrators with electronic health record functionality, including interoperability between different systems.
* Support and monitor program goals, baselines, and outcome development using logic models.
* Participate in Foster Care program and PQI initiatives across the collaborative as needed.
* Participate in Active Contract Management (ACM) with contract holders.
* Deliver data, reports, or dashboards to stakeholders as needed.
* Administer annual satisfaction surveys.
* Travel as needed between the three agencies' primary locations (Providence, Warwick, Middletown).

Skills & Abilities
* Bachelor's degree in social sciences, data analytics, computer science or related field required; master's preferred.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in data analysis and reporting required.
* Experience with electronic health records (EHR) a plus.
* Experience in a nonprofit or human services setting preferred.
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
* Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
* Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
* Collaboration and teamwork.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft BI or other data visualization.

Travel Requirements
Site location: Middletown
Statewide travel required.

Physical Requirements
Operational staff:
This position involves work in an office setting. Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods, communicating with colleagues, and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods, bending, reaching, hearing and vision.
