1 or more years of landscaping experience

This position is a manual labor position that provides operational support of the grounds department pruning crew. Reporting directly to a crew leader (Landscape Pruning Specialist), this position assists the crew with completing work assigned to the crew to include performing maintenance, structural and rejuvenation pruning of landscape plants on campus utilizing proper pruning techniques. This position assists with loading, securing, and unloading landscape debris in pickup trucks, dump trucks, and trailers.

Assists crew to perform pruning duties for landscape plants throughout campus.

Loads, secures, and unloads landscape debris on pickup trucks, dump trucks, and trailers.

Assist maintenance crews to perform routine landscape maintenance throughout campus.

Responds to campus emergencies including inclement weather events.
