Schedule: 3 month Summer Internship, 40 Hours, Days, Full-Time, Non-Benefit Eligible

Summary:

A finance intern's job is toassist a financial team with tasks related to accounting, reporting, and analysis.Interns gain practical experience in finance while learning about the field.

Responsibilities:


  • Financial reports:Prepare financial reports, including monthly or weekly reports
  • Data entry:Enter data into financial accounting systems
  • Financial analysis:Analyze financial data, business performance, and market trends
  • Budgeting:Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Presentations:Prepare presentations to convince decision-makers
  • Strategic planning:Assist with strategic planning and policy development
  • Auditing:Assist with audits and account reconciliation
  • Administrative work:Complete administrative tasks and take notes during meetings

Required Knowledge & Skills:



  • Education: Finance interns are typically college students enrolled in a degree program, preferably in business administration with a concentration in finance or accounting.

  • Experience: Customer service, call center, volunteer work

  • Software/Hardware: Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook
  • Strong math and numerical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet and database programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to make sound financial and business decisions
