What You Will Do as a Trade Show & Events Coordinator:

This position is responsible for the coordination of sales support events, including trade shows and sales meetings, that drive and enhance the over all business objectives.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Plans and executes the trade show schedule for all Workwear Outfitters brands. This includes establishing annual calendar, estimating budget, booth design & set-up, shipping trade show materials, providing general direction to participants and pre/post show communication to attendees while resolving issues as they arise.
  • Oversees and maintains inventory management for booth assets to ensure all items are returned and to facilitate trade show planning with brands, internal customers and external vendors.
  • Provides control over departmental intellectual properties including account-specific garments, photographic images, line drawings, and sales copy.
  • Oversees inventory management and fulfillment procedures for collateral inventories.
  • Prepares invoices and/or POs for management's approval. Verifies accuracy, assigns budget code, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Uses Salesforce.com to manage all Tradeshows including requests, approvals, expenses and reporting.
  • Coordinates annual sales meetings both regional and national. Plan and facilitate logistics for events, including site and vendor selection, contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials.
  • Conducts post-event data and strategic analysis to inform future events

Skills for Success:

  • 1+ years of related professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Organized, project manager, with the ability to independently problem solve. Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written) including the ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Ablility to articulate ideas easily and capture others' ideas even more easily.
  • Ongoing ability to independently increase technical skills and business knowledge is required.
  • Stay current, and often ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges
  • Establish standard procedures and work closely with coworkers/team to execute them
  • Strong budget monitoring and compliance skills preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle pressure, make quick decisions and adapt to changing priorities and duties
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, twist and climb a ladder.
  • Travel is required along with nights and weekends as required.
