BIM Coordinator

NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Coordinator in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

• Develop and enforce BIM standards and coordinate data management.
• Resolve model clashes.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to manage Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required.
• Develop master drawings illustrating proposed installations within facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, managers, and external clients to deliver CAD/BIM support.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs and inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in BIM coordination, construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and customer service support skills.
• Familiarity with Evolve Electrical add-ins is a plus.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) is preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and complex technical documents.
• Strong time-management, organizational, attention-to-detail skills with ability to manage tasks across multiple projects.
• Analytical mindset for reading and understanding specifications and submittals.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
