Inside Crane Operator

We are seeking an Inside Crane Operator to work in our Monroe, NC facility. In this position you are responsible for keeping all areas stocked with metal materials. A successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail and must be self-motivated.

This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off. Training will be on the same shift.

Additional Responsibilities

• Check crane and scale daily to ensure they are safe to operate
• Take work orders from the lead operator
• Move staged orders and deliver them to designated areas
• Move scrap metal from saws and grinders and discard of it
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED

• Crane or lift experience

• Must be able to maintain IME certification by fulfilling all requirements
