Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

As a Regulatory Specialist (QFSMS), reporting to the VP of Quality, you'll ensure regulatory compliance for inbound and outbound materials across multiple business units. You'll serve as the main contact for regulatory requirements and customer documentation, overseeing certification programs and reporting for products like Tea Extracts and Coffee Extracts.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee regulatory compliance for Tea Extracts, Coffee Extracts, and related products.
  • Maintain and update reporting infrastructure for approved goods and customer documentation.
  • Support regulatory programs, including SQF, organic, RFA, kosher, and halal certifications.
  • Stay informed on regulatory trends in food safety, labeling, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations (e.g., UK, Europe, Canada).
  • Manage customer questionnaires and requests for regulatory accuracy.
  • Maintain external certifications and support Quality and Food Safety training.



Qualifications:



  • Tertiary qualification in a science-based field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, or food technology).
  • HACCP Level 3 training and Auditor training (preferably HACCP or Lead Auditor).
  • Proficient in TACCP, VACCP, and GFSI Certification programs (e.g., SQF, FSSC 22000, BRC).
  • 5+ years in food manufacturing with focus on Quality, Food Safety & Regulatory management.
  • Expert knowledge of FDA, USDA, EFSA, ISO regulations.
  • Proven project planning experience.
  • Strong organizational, MS Office, and communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear reports and corrective actions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong leadership, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset.
