Engineering Administrative Assistant

Temp to Perm

Location: Houston, TX 77092

Pay: $23 hr. to $30 hr.

Duties:



  • Schedule meetings for company management
  • Assist with onsite/offsite meetings for Engineering
  • Provide engineering support for projects
  • Assist/coordinate supplier coordination meetings with Engineering and Management
  • Issue and coordinate RMA (Return Material Authorization) with clients and suppliers
  • Maintain project documentation to ensure adherence with company retention policy and contract compliance
  • Maintain ISO/UL certifications by participating in annual audits and maintaining various reports, lists, charts and records
  • Provide ISO training to new employees


Qualifications



  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment (prefers electrical)
  • Experience with Administrative QC/QA.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus
  • 2+ years' experience in a related field, electrical industry a plus
  • Experience with document control and ISO 9001 certification a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment


  • Solid communication skills and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience with Adobe PDF software
