The Non-Blue Digital Sales Channel business unit, based in Reinach, Switzerland, expanded to Greenwood, IN in 2024. This group focuses on reaching new customers via third party digital sales channels. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of our digital sales partners through the partner success program, technical, commercial support, and regular engagement through collaboration with the head of the business unit, digital sales engineers and supply chain associates. This role requires a combination of business acumen, relationship-building skills, and an understanding of our products and offering. Which tasks will you perform?
- Establish and develop a long-term business relationship with target partners, following the business unit strategy.
- Formulate and implement the partner success program that maximizes the value generated by digital sales channels worldwide, develop overall account development that includes portfolio development, content strategy, training, and the execution of priorities with key stakeholders.
- Partner with the head of the business unit and business analysts to find, onboard, develop and grow strategic business partnerships through third party digital sales channels.
- Collaborate with the head of the business unit, supply chain associates and the Operations Manager to implement and manage partner contracts and agreements.
- Provide commercial leadership including sales and development strategy, technical support, portfolio and industry knowledge.
- Network and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to achieve sales growth (production centers, Digital Sales Engineers, product owners, Business Analysts Technical Support Teams, Contract Managers, Digital Business Development Managers).
What do we expect from you? You will have (required):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Electronics and/or Automation Distribution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain the benefits and features of the product and offering to potential customers.
You may have (preferred):
- Knowledge of Endress+Hauser portfolio.
- Previous experience in channel management or distribution.
- Self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Business acumen and market awareness to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Experience in strategic account management in international contexts.
- Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
- Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, develop and execute strategic plans and solutions, and drive business results.
