ERG is seeking a Facilities Work Order Management Administrator to oversee the distribution and tracking of work orders across several facilities and disciplines at a federal facility site in Indian Head, Maryland. Indian Head is the Navy's leading facility for ordnance, energetics, and explosive ordnance disposal solutions. The qualified individual must be motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position will require full-time on-site at the federal site in Indian Head, MD, and will include interaction and support from ERG personnel at the federal site, as well as from ERG's Chantilly and Arlington offices. Indian Head is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA. Alternative work schedules may be considered.

Job Description
  • Receive, process, and track electronic work orders related to the maintenance and repair of client facilities
  • Assign work orders to appropriate personnel and ensure that the work is completed correctly and on time
  • Coordinate with on-site staff, contractors, and vendors to complete work orders
  • Maintain accurate records of all work orders, including detailed information on the work performed, materials used, and costs incurred
  • Provide routine reports to the Facilities Manager on work order status, including any delays or issues that arise
  • Follow up with the Facilities Manager as needed to ensure an accurate understanding of a work order request if it needs to be clarified
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel and the production controller to ensure work is completed in coordination with each facility's production and manufacturing schedules
  • Assist with other facilities management tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • An Associate's Degree in facilities maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance and repair experience
  • Experience with work order management software preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • This position may require a pre-employment physical exam
  • This position requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 and up to 100 pounds
  • Work may be performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g., fumes, dust, heat, ionizing, and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You may be required to participate in medical surveillance programs
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance; Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
