PURPOSE

The Fleet Technology Administrator will support the Fleet Department through the maintenance of technology platforms essential for fleet maintenance, data governance, and master data management. This role focuses on supporting platforms that identify, measure, and deliver on fleet productivity initiatives, ensuring the effective management of fleet-related expenses, and maintaining reliable, low-cost fleet assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Technology Implementation: Assist in the initial setup and maintenance of fleet management systems that provide critical business information.
  • Data Management: Support data governance and master asset data management efforts to ensure accurate tracking and categorization of fleet assets and related expenses.
  • Performance Tracking: Compile, Monitor and make available Reports on key performance metrics (KPMs) to support Fleet Team in ensuring consistent maintenance, reliability and utilization of fleet assets.
  • Cost Control: Support strategies to control and reduce fleet maintenance costs.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and training of employees on fleet asset management systems and best practices.
  • Safety Compliance: Support Fleet Team in ensuring fleet software platforms comply with safety requirements and regulations as directed.
  • System Utilization: Promote and Advocate for effective utilization of fleet asset management systems to enhance productivity.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct reports. The role operates indirectly with stakeholders, fleet team members, and cross-functional support teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with fleet asset and maintenance management systems and data governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results driven, confident in taking initiative to solve issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.



COMPETENCIES



  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Automation exposure (Python, REST API).
  • Understanding of SDKs (Software Development Kits).
  • Understanding in DevOps: Continuous Integration (CI), Monitoring and Logging, Collaboration and Communication.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of applications.
