Job Description: *Regularly inspects and evaluates the facility's operations and procedures to comply with governmental safety regulations and quality standards. *Identifies potential safety hazards or quality issues during audits and recommend corrective actions. *Develops and enforces safety protocols for maintenance activities, including the use of heavy equipment and the operation of ranges. *Trains maintenance staff in the safe handling and operation procedures for equipment. *Coordinates with equipment operators to conduct regular safety drills and training sessions. *Establishes guidelines for the safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals used in the facility. *Conducts training sessions on chemical safety, emergency response, and spill containment procedures. *Develops and enforces operating procedures for vehicle navigation over challenging terrain and in low-visibility conditions, such as fog or night-time operations. *Provides specialized training to drivers on navigating difficult terrain safely. *Ensure the safety of all participants during simulated battlefield effects, including the use of pyrotechnics and simulated munitions. *Coordinates with training departments to incorporate safety briefings and emergency response procedures into simulations. *Collaborate with other departments to analyze data from safety audits, incident reports, and safety drills. *Uses the findings from joint analyses to develop comprehensive strategies for improving safety and quality across the facility. *Leads investigations into accidents or safety incidents to identify root causes. *Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including findings and recommendations for preventing future occurrences. Degree(s)/Years of Experience: (2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree).
