Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.
POSITION SUMMARY A Project Manager will be assigned to the CONSTELLATION-class frigate (FFG) program management team with emphasis on planning, organizing, and guiding a variety of projects in search of maximizing return on investment (ROI) by gaining efficiencies in the shipyard by revising the build strategy. This work includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and analyzing program requirements and information, chairing meetings/devising agendas, researching available technologies or capabilities, conducting business case analyses/determining the ROI, preparing proposals, managing subcontracts, producing required periodic reports, and developing briefings and other material necessary to communicate Program Manager guidance and recommendations. The individual is expected to have an ability to read, interpret, and clearly present complex information; interact with customers, partners, and colleagues; listen well; keep the senior leadership team well-informed; and, resolve issues identified by stakeholders. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
