Requisition ID req32402 Working Title Senior Medical Practice Specialist Position Grade 14 Position Summary The UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Sr. Medical Practice Specialist to analyze and optimize clinical revenue generating operations in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines dealing with the conduct of a medical practice. This position develops and implements business strategies, policies, protocols, and systems that improve practice productivity, efficiency and customer service. Serving in a leadership role, the selected candidate will lead in the evaluation and redesign of business plans of a large, growing and multi-division department. The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is a multi-division department within the UNM School of Medicine. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 9 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
