Requisition ID req32458 Working Title Dept Administrator R1 Position Grade 13 Position Summary The School of Engineering is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, self-starter for the lead administrator position in the Department of Computer Science (CS). CS is a highly research-active academic department of approximately 16 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 3 lecturers, 4 adjunct faculty, 3 research faculty, and 7 staff. With close to 600 undergraduate and graduate students, $3M in research expenditures annually and collaborations with several UNM Research Centers, we are looking for a leader who can keep this fast-paced and active department running. You would serve as an advisor to the departmental chairperson under limited supervision and manage all administrative functions of the department. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/or human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
