Position Summary
The Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of New Mexico seeks to hire multiple undergraduate research support students. These positions will support Dr. Tamar Ginossar in environmental health and in aging and dementia-related and STEM training research. The Undergraduate Research Support Aministrator(s) will work closely with Dr. Ginossar and her team to provide general research assistance.
General research assistance may include duties such as: conducting literature reviews and manuscript formatting, data entry and maintaining data sets, creating flyers, packets, and materials for research studies and programs, table and figure creation, creating data sets and spreadsheets, assisting in the preparation of newsletters and documents and/or transcribing research interviews. There will be options to work with local New Mexico communities and participate in outreach activities. Administrative duties may also be required including meeting scheduling, event planning, minute taking, scanning and photocopying and miscellaneous duties as assigned. The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional and positive attitude and communicate effectively and proactively with others. They must be highly organized and self-motivated, with good time management skills, and have the ability to autonomously track and follow up on projects to completion.

- Currently
enrolled undergraduate student - Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive,
PowerPoint and web-conferencing application (e.g. skype, zoom, etc.) are required.

- Experience with reference software (Zotero, EndNote, etc.)
