Overview

NaphCare is hiring a Executive Legal Assistant to assist our Chief Legal Officer and Legal team at the Corporate Office located in Birmingham, AL 35216.



Responsibilities

Position Description:

    Schedule and calendar for Chief Legal Officer
  • Assist the Legal Team with communications management
  • Manage department-related paperwork by ensuring necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Process and handle weekly and monthly invoices and spreadsheets
  • Handle confidential information professionally and with discretion
  • Communicate with key internal personnel and NaphCare clients
  • Create and prepare routine correspondence and materials
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings
  • Manage department-related paperwork to ensure necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Utilize advanced computer skills to prepare legal documents and/or other necessary functions
  • Proofread, verify and edit all materials for accuracy and clarity
  • Research written legal authority to include court dockets and pleadings
  • Make necessary travel arrangements for legal department


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Prefer 2+ years of related legal experience supporting a team in an administrative capacity.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Pacer required.
  • Excellent skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of the team, as well as work independently.
