Who We Are ...

SourceAmerica is searching for a Director, AbilityOne Regulatory Compliance to join its team. This position Oversees all activities related to NPA Compliance, utilizing SourceAmerica processes/procedures to include (but not limited to):

(1) Regulatory Affairs and Qualifications.

(2) Regulatory review and assistance visits.

(3) Corrective action monitoring and reporting; and

(4) Regulatory Assistance and training.

Ensures all NPA Compliance Oversight and Monitoring activities are conducted in accordance with respective policies and procedures. Serves as a primary point of contact (POC) and representative for executive level matters and decisions with regard to initial and ongoing qualification recommendations regarding member agencies. This includes matters involving the U.S. AbilityOne Commission, SourceAmerica Executive and Business Leadership, SourceAmerica's Chief Legal Office, and NPAs. Manages and/or oversees the activities of all Regulatory Oversight and Monitoring (ROM) Team Members.

* Due to the requirements of this position, one's proximity must be near our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area. SourceAmerica's employees who live within 30 commuting miles of our offices work in a hybrid setting with 2-3 days in office and the balance as remote work.

What You'll Do:

As a Director, AbilityOne Regulatory Compliance, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.



  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with the U.S. AbilityOne Commission Compliance staff and network NPAs
  • Identify, recommending and implementing opportunities for refinement, improvement and efficiency in the NPA Compliance ProgramX
  • Ensure alignment of ROM strategy with AbilityOne Program compliance requirements, Modernization efforts and SourceAmerica strategy
  • Supervises the work of a large team, serves as a coach and developmental expert, is responsible for resource allocation, and interfaces with senior leadership - internally and externally.
  • Business travel is required for this position based on business needs.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.


Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $130,000 - $165,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

What You'll Need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.
  • 10 years relevant work experience in compliance/quality management.
  • 7+ years management experience.
  • Proven experience implementing and customizing ERP solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred experiences and skills:



  • Masters Degree or MBA in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
  • Proven networking, negotiation, presentation, and electronic communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to manage and oversee the activities and performance of multiple direct reports.
  • Ability to create and document processes, procedures and project plans through conception, development, implementation, execution, and closure.
  • Self-starter with the confidence to build and maintain solid team and business relationships with stakeholders using strong interpersonal skills, business judgment, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle complex actions and multiple competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the AbilityOne program policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and teams across a 400+ organization with a national footprint
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficient user experience with Smartsheet
  • Proficient user experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) SourceAmerica uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its business application system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure
  • Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods
