Description

For a role of this nature the impact encompasses the entire organization, however, key requirements are as follows:



  • Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100, and NADCAP preferred

  • Forging Industry knowledge big plus.



  • Experience with continuous improvement program implementation preferred.



  • Experience in high volume metal machining a plus.




Skills and Abilities




  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft office required, with strong computer skills.


  • Administer the Quality Management System.

  • Recognize and implement effective problem resolution.



  • Ensure all processes in area comply with ISO 9001/AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements.



  • Lead the internal audit process and internal auditors.



  • Support the Company's Quality Assurance Programs.



  • Manage the Quality organization staff and their daily activities.



  • Develop and facilitate quality assurance related training for production and management personnel.



  • Maintain product traceability information.



  • Perform daily quality metrics and analysis in key areas of production.



  • Use Six Sigma/Lean methods to improve product quality throughout facility.



  • Manage all nonconforming product



  • Submit all non-conforming product to customers when required



  • Contribute to all product development.



  • Contribute to production improvement projects.



  • Ensure compliance with customer specified purchase order requirements.



  • Act as point of contact for 2 and 3 party QMS audits.



  • Maintain the gage calibration system.



  • Assist Purchasing with the Supplier Selection and Evaluation process.
