This Residential Closed Quality Assurance Technician position will thoroughly analyze and examine closed loan file documentation to ensure quality assurance and accuracy to meet regulatory, investor and Associated Bank requirements for all channels (Retail, Correspondent, and Wholesale), monitor, initiate and reconcile fundings for service released and retained investors, CRA bulk purchase and Third Party Originated (TPO) lenders.

This person will,

  • Interact and follow-up directly with customers, title companies, TPO clients, loan coordinators, loan processors, loan closers, underwriters, loan officers, account executives, external vendors and servicing personnel to correct closed loan file documentation.

  • Create mortgage loan packages to cure any deficient documents found in closed loan file documentation analysis; including but not limited to; verification of income and assets as required by the underwriting approval and AUS findings.

  • Identify discrepancies between LE and CD and determine if any inaccuracies exist and require resolution. Interact with compliance and legal by submitting Compliance form, APRWIN and all supporting documentation.

  • Complete Notice of Loan Ownership Disclosures to be sent to borrowers within 27 days of transfer (Purchase Date.) by utilizing the Daily PowerSeller and InformEnt reports. Monitor and track AHP, DPA and DPP approval requests submitted to SharePoint site for upload of agency guidelines and security instruments. Monitor and track timely grant reimbursements from agencies.

  • Ship closed loan file documentation to investor through investor portals. Ship collateral packages to investor through overnight courier by delivery time frame to avoid any risk of penalties. Update the pipeline and risk management system to insure accurate tracking and reporting for FASB133.

  • Track compliance related issues in reports for management related to compliance issues and accuracy issues. Validate and confirm servicing transfers utilizing the Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS)

Requirements
Education

  • High School Required

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred

Experience

  • 2-5 years Financial, Mortgage, Title company experience Required
