Description
GAI Consultants is seeking a Field Engineer for an on-site position with a client in Indonesia. The Field Engineer would work a 8 week on 3 week off rotation at the client site, working closely with the client and local utility to maintain and improve the electrical system in the area. The candidate will have to be comfortable with work in a remote area of the world with a multi-national and multi-disciplinary team, designing and maintaining an electrical system with unique challenges. Duties will include transmission, distribution, and substation design, client interaction, proposal preparation, design review, QA/QC, and finding solutions for issues in the field. Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Experience
8 years: Technical work, including but not limited to engineering design, drawing creation, development of bills of material, permit development, and QA/QC. (required)
