ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

You will manage new and renewal business opportunities related to managed major and/or complex solutions. Also, you will play an active part in the entire proposal project life cycle challenge solutions and drive best practice for major or complex deals. You will ensure that SITA is portrayed professionally and with credibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Opportunity Qualification: Validate and monitor the qualification status of opportunities throughout the bid process.
  • Customer Requirement Analysis: Analyze customer requirements to develop optimal win strategies and appropriate response levels.
  • Bid Project Planning: Develop comprehensive bid project plans and manage virtual bid teams to achieve deliverables efficiently.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess and address risks associated with delivering successful bid projects.
  • Pre-Contract Negotiation Coordination: Coordinate negotiation teams during pre-contract stages, establishing commercial agreements and contracts.
  • Transition Planning: Develop plans to ensure smooth transitions from bid teams to delivery and implementation teams upon contract award.
  • Solution Approval Facilitation: Assist in obtaining necessary solution approvals, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Progress Communication: Regularly communicate progress to senior management and stakeholders, escalating major issues as needed.
  • Governance Adherence: Ensure adherence to internal governance and obtain required business approvals.
  • Issue Resolution Oversight: Maintain visibility of all commercial, delivery, and operational aspects of accounts, driving issue resolution through appropriate channels.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • Commercial Experience: Proven track record in similar roles with strong project management skills across multiple teams and locations.
  • Proposal Management: Hands-on experience in managing proposals, sales, business development, or account management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aviation industry or IT sector is advantageous.
  • Complex Bids & Proposals: Demonstrated ability to manage complex bids and proposals, including purchasing and sales, with vendor-side exposure.
  • Airport/Airline Operations: Understanding of airport and/or airline operations is beneficial.
  • Senior-Level Engagement: Experience in building successful relationships at the Senior Manager level.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Multinational Experience: Preferably having worked in a multinational company.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong ability to coordinate multiple teams across various locations.
  • Proposal Development Expertise: Skilled in developing and managing complex bids and proposals.
