Engineering Supervisor

Job Description:

The Engineering Supervisor serves as a key leadership role within our Facilities Engineering Department. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of engineering operations, along with strong management and supervisory skills. The Engineering Supervisor oversees a team of Engineers, coordinating their efforts to ensure our healthcare system's infrastructure is efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards. This position places patient care and infection control standards as a top priority, following and aligning all activities with these standards. The role may require working outside of regularly scheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or in emergency situations. All roles within the Engineering department are required to adopt and utilize the CMMS work order system to effectively communicate across the organization and manage activities and assets

• Oversee the work of Engineers to ensure the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our healthcare system's infrastructure
• Train and mentor engineering staff, promoting best practices
• Strictly adhere to patient care and infection control standards
• Participates in activities to improve facility Engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related degree equivalent of education
• High School/GED
• Four years of experience required
