PET/Nuclear Medicine Tech
All Shifts Available, Full-time and Part-time Qualified Candidates eligible for $30,000.00 Sign-On Bonus Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound.We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Responsibilities:
Ensure high-quality imaging by preparing accurate records, verifying images archived to PACS, and resolving any issues related to image quality. Conduct quality control on equipment, order and restock supplies, and manage radioactive waste disposal in compliance with regulations. Stay current with regulatory standards, maintain nuclear medicine certification, and contribute to improving technical performance by teaching new technology or software applications. Proactively plan and manage daily patient flow, staff schedules, and assist with staff selection, training, and competency evaluations. Assist Radiologists and management with protocol development, training new employees on equipment usage, exam protocols, and modifications, as well as supervising clinical rotation students. Maintain a professional and cooperative work environment, fostering positive relationships with coworkers, staff, and related personnel while adhering to hospital policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine education program. Current ARRT or NMTCB certification, and Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license. Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required. PET certification recommended after 700 hours of clinical experience. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
