Pharmacy BMT Clinical Program Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Oversight for the programmatic pharmacy clinical services both inpatient and outpatient across all facilities; Work with pharmacy, providers, and operational leadership to fulfill the strategic direction of the program.
- Participates in programmatic oversight for budgetary, clinical and distributive aspects of pharmaceutical care for the program.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of treatment guidelines, protocols, policies, procedures, formulary changes and critical pathways for the program.
- Ensuring that all medications, therapies, chemotherapy, immunosuppressants, and supportive therapy are administered accurately and appropriately to patients under care.
- Provides clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners and patients and suggests appropriate and cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to medical staff as needed.
Pharmacy BMT Clinical Program Coordinator Additional Requirements:
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday day shift.
- Education: Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Experience: Seven (7) year of pharmacist experience.
- Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
