The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist. Inova seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in our Eastern Region with Inpatient rounding at our Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at both locations. Inova Non-Invasive Program Highlights: Inpatient Coverage:Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospitals with APP coverage at both hospitals Opportunities tocover inpatient, CCU and echo services at Fairfax hospital Outpatient Imaging responsibilities: 2-3 reading days a month, 15-20 echos and 5 nuclear studies per day Call: approximately 10 weekends per year and 2-3 weeknight call coverages per month Opportunity for research and education with Cardiology Fellowship Program Inova Schar Heart and Vascular (ISHV) is ranked among the nation's top hospitals. Qualified Candidates: Board eligible/board certified in cardiology Credentialed in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology with skills in interpreting carotid and peripheral vascular non-invasive studies.
