Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonography Tech Lead

Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty Job Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and monitors performance improvement activities.
• Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Demonstrates creativity in section operation skills, decision-making skills and contingency planning preparation.
• Explains procedures to patients/families and answers any questions to ease anxiety and ensure patient cooperation
• Serves as a department reference for obtaining optimal imaging for interpretation/identification of anomalies within Maternal Fetal patients.

Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule: Full-time Dayshift
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Degree from Accredited Sonography Training Program
• Licensure: None required
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS); Successful completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program is required within 6 months for team members without the Nuchal Translucency Certification; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology Upon Start
• Experience: Eight years of recent hospital experience or equivalent in a Maternal Fetal Medicine Group
