Staff Nurse / 36 Hours Variable Rotation / Divisional Critical Care Float Pool ICU Nursing at Brigham and Women's Hospital is known for their excellent clinical practice and for keeping patients and their families at the center of all they do. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for: - Providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. - Covering long term assignments in critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit - Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. To qualify you must have: Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Experience: 1 year of med/surg Nursing experience required ICU experience preferred. Interest in being cross-trained over time to cover long term assignments in critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit desirable Other:Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty area is encouraged Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
