Summary
Responsible for inspecting, calibrating, testing, and repairing medical electronic equipment, and do so by using a variety of tools and computer applications. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on specialized electronic equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions. -Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements. -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies. -Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and accurate. -Repair and replace complex biomedical electronic equipment and systems. -Install and adjust a variety of electronic biomedical and research equipment. -Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision. -Function as the senior technologist to provide guidance and mentorship to other BMETs.
