Responsible for managing the daily operations of the provider network for an organization. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Manage a team of provider network operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Develop and implement provider network policies and procedures, including contracting, credentialing, and provider data management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination of provider network operations with other areas of the organization. Plan and oversee the budget for provider network operations, including expenses and capital expenditures. Monitor and analyze provider network performance, including network adequacy and provider satisfaction, and develop and implement improvement plans as needed. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to provider network operations. Develop and maintain relationships with provider network vendors and service providers. Education Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Experience Experience in healthcare provider network operations 5-7 years required and Experience in a Supervisory role. 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong leadership, management, and communication skills. Deep understanding of healthcare provider networks and related operations, including contracting, credentialing, and provider data management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
