As a member of the Ob/Gyn Epidemiology Center, the senior research assistant will be responsible for multiple projects and serve as the lead assistant to other research assistants and staff on all lab related projects. The senior research assistant will work closely with the Project Manager and PI in the development and execution of all aspects of several studies, including patient recruitment and follow-up, data collection, specimen processing, lab management and organization, as well as the opportunity to contribute to publications.
As a member of the Ob/Gyn Epidemiology Center, the senior research assistant will be responsible for multiple projects and serve as the lead assistant to other research assistants and staff on all lab related projects.The senior research assistant will work closely with the Project Manager and PI in the development and execution of all aspects of several studies, including patient recruitment and follow-up, data collection, specimen processing, lab management and organization, as well as the opportunity to contribute to publications. Two ongoing studies will be the focus for this Senior RA. The first is a longitudinal case control study of endometriosis (Boston Center for Endometriosis/Women's Health Study: From Adolescence to Adulthood), with ongoing yearly contact of previously enrolled subjects. This study is a cross-institutional project between Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. A second MGB gynecology study, which is a joint project between Brigham and Women's Hospital and Mass General Hospital, is in the recruitment phase. The Senior RA will help manage the team, assist with communications, manuscript preparation, presentations, and data archiving.
