Job Description

The Role:The Director/Manager,Capital Marketswill be responsible for leading all aspects of treasury andcapital marketsactivities, includingequity, convertible debt, and preferredequityofferings. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to execute financing initiatives, optimize the balance sheet, and maintain compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will possess experience incapital markets, structured financings, investment banking, privateequity, or publicequityinvesting, with a deep interest in and understanding of bitcoin.

In-Office Position: At Strategy, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home.

Your Focus:

  • Lead and executecapitalraising initiatives, includingequity, debt, and preferredequityinstruments.
  • Drive strategy and analysis for balance sheet optimization, includingliabilitymanagement andcapitalallocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Investor Relations, to support financing transactions and related activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and othercapital marketsparticipants to support funding initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identifycapital marketstrends and opportunities aligned with the company's bitcoin treasury strategy.
  • Support bitcoin analysis and compliance with company digitalassetpolicies, audits, and reporting initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on innovative financing structures to optimize the company'scapitalstrategy.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, investor presentations, and management reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a key representative forcapital marketsdiscussions in investor meetings and conferences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant Finance work experience.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in investment banking, privateequity, publicequityinvesting, or a similar role.
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced financial qualification preferred.
  • Proven track record of executingcapitalraising activities, includingequityand debt transactions.
  • Advanced understanding ofcapital marketsconcepts, financial modeling, and corporate finance principles. Experience with convertibledebt financingand preferredequity financing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience building complex financial models.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interest and/or experience with bitcoin and digitalassets.
  • Familiarity with the software industry and SaaS business models is a plus.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Factset, Kynex, and equivalent financial tools is preferred.
