Staffmark is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in North Little Rock, AR. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Read on to learn more and apply today!

Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the month-end closing process for assigned areas
  • Prepare journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts
  • Prepare excess/obsolete inventory reserve reports
  • Generate fixed asset, flux, and other financial reports
  • Prepare month-end analysis and input into SAP
  • Collaborate daily with the Corporate Accounting team and divisional stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and compliance issues
  • Handle special projects as required



Qualifications:



  • 1 - 3 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must
  • Consumer products background preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • SAP experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work after hours during the monthly close period
