Do you have two years of experience in quality control within the mortgage or document custodian industry? Advantage Resourcing has partnered with a global financial institution that provides financial services to companies, governments, institutional investors, small and medium-sized businesses, and private individuals. We are seeking new talent in Santa Ana, CA, to join this passionate and collaborative team as their newest Mortgage Quality Control Specialist. Pay: $26-$30 per hour (Based on experience) Choose the 1st shift hours that work best for you! 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday Mortgage Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audits of mortgage documents and custodial records. Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Identify and rectify discrepancies in loan files and documentation. Collaborate with team members to enhance quality control processes and practices. Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and present recommendations for improvement. Assist in training and mentoring new staff on quality control standards and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial, or Economics. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within the mortgage or document custodian industry. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
